Where they are best suited
Most people probably don’t think that personal hygiene poses challenges for people with reduced mobility. Being dependent on assistance can, in the worst case, have a negative effect on self-esteem and the experience of personal integrity. Poseidon is the larger model that is intended for healthcare facilities, while Freja is intended to work in the home.
How Freja works
1. Stable and safe while lifting in and out
The ergonomic chair is controlled with the help of advanced software, sensors and motors. The chair is pushed out and lowered just enough so that the user can sit down. The seat cushion is two-part and the comfortable backrest is high enough to provide support and comfortable comfort. The footrest is designed so that the walker and wheelchair can get close. The chair is lifted with a soft and controlled movement into the shower area, without the user having to step on a wet and slippery floor. Thus, Freja contributes to a significantly lower risk of fall accidents in bath and shower rooms.
2. Safe and comfortable shower environment
The shower area is designed to make the user feel safe and relaxed, while maintaining integrity and self-esteem. The environment is enveloping but still airy, and the arched plexiglass is frosted to prevent direct visibility. The hygiene assistant’s relatively low overall height and compact dimensions facilitate placement in the bathroom and communication with relatives.
3. Simple and easy to use
With Freja, the user can wash almost their entire body on their own – chest, torso, legs and abdomen. The shower is started via the flexible control panel that is mounted on the armrest. With the help of simple and clear buttons, you then control the pressure, temperature, soap system and shower area on the body. The shower jets are distributed separately via seven shower nozzles and in addition there is both a hand shower and a main shower. Preheated water and soft start provide increased shower comfort. The temperature range is limited for safety reasons and on the outside there is an extra control panel for any assistance. Our washing concept has been developed in collaboration with clinical staff from gynecology and geriatric units.
4. Remote Monitoring
Freja offers a digital interface for monitoring and transmitting data in real time via the Internet. The interface is platform-independent and can be integrated with current care providers’ systems for digitized care in the home.
5. Meets tough hygiene requirements
The design and choice of materials correspond to the strict hygiene and environmental requirements set in the healthcare industry. The mechanics are carefully encapsulated and the clean, even surfaces facilitate easy cleaning and ensure clean surfaces. The materials consist mainly of stainless steel and non-toxic composite materials (fiberglass).

2. Safe and comfortable shower environment
The shower area is designed for the user to feel safe and relaxed, while maintaining integrity and self-esteem. The environment is enveloping yet airy, and the arched plexiglass is frosted to prevent direct visibility. The shower robot’s relatively low overall height and compact dimensions make it easier for the care staff to have free movement around and good contact with the user without the integrity being negatively affected.
3. Simple and easy to use
With Poseidon, the user can wash almost their entire body – chest, torso, legs and abdomen. The user starts the shower via the flexible control panel mounted on the armrest. With the help of simple and clear buttons, you then control self-pressure, temperature, dual system and shower area on the body. Shower jets and soap solution are dispensed separately via a total of thirteen shower nozzles additionally, a hand shower is easily accessible. Preheated water and soft start provide increased shower comfort. The temperature range is limited for safety reasons. For the care staff there is a wired control panel on the outside of the shower robot. The control panels have identical functions but the exterior has priority. Our washing concept has been developed in collaboration with clinical staff from gynecology and geriatrics units.
